About C&J Fencing

Family owned and operated, C & J Fencing specializes in building and repairing redwood fences, decks, arbors and wood retaining walls for both residential and commercial properties. Founded in 2005 by Chris and Jennifer French, we are the only Diamond Certified fence contractor in Contra Costa County.

Our knowledgeable staff has over 40 years combined experience in the lumber industry. Committed to providing the highest level of customer service, we meet with each client to discuss design options and review the production process. Once work begins we provide each client with status reports and members of our staff will inspect all work for quality control. Since most fence work entails working in at least two yards, we are happy to meet directly with your neighbors to discuss how the work will impact their schedules.

At C & J Fencing we use the highest quality redwood boards supplied through our own lumberyard. Our boards are thicker and more durable than most, resulting in a sturdier fence. Our wood sealants are free from harmful chemicals and meet all AWPA standards. As a courtesy, we will remove your existing structures, recycling all wood into either stream energy or ground cover.

In addition to a 10-year written warranty, at C & J Fencing we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We don’t require a deposit to start your job. All money is due at the completion of the project, when you are completely satisfied with the work.
